Just because so many people rely on the internet today, don’t think that (as an author) you can get away with not having a business card. You need one.
Alternatively, you could use a bookmark but either way you need one or the other. How else will you tell potential buyers that you meet during your day-to-day life, details about your book? Writing the information down on a beer-soggy coaster just won’t cut the mustard, neither will scribbles on a napkin that are illegible to any human.
Have a business card handy and you’ll never miss an opportunity to sell your book.
