Tagging?

I’m perplexed by why some posts have heaps of comments and others none.  The posts I love and the ones I’ve enjoyed writing the most are getting little response even though I’m adding plenty of tags. Maybe if I add the tag SEX or SELLING or SPAMMING I’ll get more response.

But really, all I want to do is help writers and have writers ask questions. Comments on my writing blogs is the main priority here but the post about websites seems to be the huge hit. Technical writing is not my forte so I am wondering why so many hits on that particular blog.

I do think some of the comments were from spammers but it’s difficult to figure out whether these are genuine comments or not. Can anyone tell me how you can tell a spammer from a true blogger?

My thought for the day:

I want to write another two chapters for my novel this weekend. I’m just wondering how I’ll fit it in now my son’s football seasons have started again. I’ll let you know how I go.

I’ve been blogging for a while now. Even though I do have some regular followers, it is a handful of posts that attract much of the daily hits. Those posts don’t always best represent what the blog is about. Sometimes it’s about popular tags, but mostly it’s about where you rank in search engine hits. It helps to visit other blogs, comment, and find like-minded people who share your interests. I’ll add your blog to my blogroll and maybe send some readers your way, as well as be back to visit myself.
